Real-Life Hauntings and Possession on 'The Exorcist' on Discovery Channel

There are those who believe that the world as we know it is not what it seems. That demons – also known as djin or spirits – have waged war against mankind for millennia, and the epic battle of good against evil continues all around us to this very day. Yet only a few still know how to fight them. Discovery Channel's one-hour special The Exorcist Files chronicles real-life hauntings and demonic possession, based on cases investigated by the Catholic Church. Hear priests and laymen of the International Association of Exorcists tell of their terrifying experiences with what they believe are the forces of evil on The Exorcist Files. Premieres on Sunday, May 13 at 10 p.m. Encores Monday, May 14 at 1 a.m. and 9 a.m., and Saturday, May 19 at 12 pm.
